May 24,2006 Radio talk show in Lafourche parish
FACTS:
Lafourche Parish President Charolette Randolph and DPW Director Ray Cheramie were guests on KLRZ talk on the bayou.
comment by Ray Cheramie: The US Corps of Engineers seems to be pleased with this new administration.
OPINIONS:
After 2 1/2 years, at what point is this administration no longer new?
FACTS:
On May 12,2003, a new political organization by the name of “Lafourche First” was represented by Michael Smith, Bill Melancon, and C. Lindy Hoffmann on KTIB radio talk show Mr. Smith indicated that Lafourche First would endorse candidates for Lafourche Parish government who had the same core values as Lafourche First. Mr. Smith stated that the organization’s core values are vision, teamwork, and quality of life.
Lafourche parish president Charolette Randolph, who was endorsed by Lafourche first, stated on the May 24TH radio show, “that’s why we are here, to protect”. She was responding to questions called in by listereners.
OPINIONS:
Is to protect, a new core value or did MRS. Randolph ever share Lafourche First core values? Where is Lafourche first today? Are you proud of today’s Lafourche Parish President and Council?
My opinion is that at least one of the following individuals should appear on KLRZ radio talk show and inform the citizenary. The following individuals were listed as members of the board of directors for Lafourche First as of April 10, 2003: Ronald Adams, Carol LeBlanc, Al Danos, Jane Birdsall, Harold Block, Gwen Cheramie, Cullen Curole, Dan Duplantis, David Duplantis, William Eroche, Paul Tom Gaudet, Jake Giardina, Grant Gravois, Don Harang, C. Lindy Hoffmann, Joe Leonard, Chick Martin, Bill Melancon, and Larry Weidel.
