FACTS:

Lafourche Parish can be proud of its recreation system. The tax payers of Lafourche Parish pays a dedicated tax to assure our children will have a holsum activity to participate in at their leisure.

OPINIONS:

I have seen the Lafourche Parish recreation system flourish with and without a parish director of recreation.

In my opinion, the position of director of recreation is a political position.

In my opinion, this high salaried position should be eliminated and the salary should be spent on the children, as intended.
