FACTS:
Public works director retains position, is the title of one of the articles written by Alces P. Adams in the July 2, 2006 edition of the Lafourche Gazette. The article was written in order to provide the general public with information gathered from the Lafourche Parish Council meeting held on June 27, 2006.
OPINIONS:
According to the above article, Councilman Gouaux stated “Ray Cheramie in my opinion has done wonders in this parish.” In my opinion, Lafourche Parish as a whole is wondering what Ray Cheramie does. In my opinion, the citizens of Lafourche Parish are wondering what Councilman Gouaux ever did for the parish as a whole.
According to the above article, President Randolph began her remarks by asking if the parish should take action against councilmen who spoke to contractors in violation of the charter (speaking to contractors or any one else by councilmen is not a violation of the charter). This attempted smoke screen, in my opinion, by Lafourche Parish President Charlotte Angelette, Danos, Randolph was done by the leader of the allegedly most corrupted administration in parish history (someone is trying to take your place “Kingfish”).
I would like my friend, the DA, to pay close attention. Not included in the newspaper article or any other media source is a rumored unauthorized expenditure of over 5 MILLION DOLLARS of tax payers money. The alleged expenditure was done in an area of the parish where it is alleged to be the residing council district of, you guessed it, Charlotte Angelette, Danos, Randolph, Phillip Gouaux and Ray Cheramie.
