The Gospel, According to the D.A. Cam Morvant
FACTS:
“DA Issues Warning to Parish Council”, is the title of an article written by Alces P. Adams in the July 2, 2006 edition of The Lafourche Gazette. The Lafourche Gazette is a local news paper located in the community of Larose, parish of Lafourche, in the state of Louisiana.
In Alces P. Adams’ article he wrote, like mom would say, District Attorney Cam Morvant stood at the podium to “read them from the book” at last Tuesday’s meeting. He offered stern advice on a number of issues and advised the Council of an upcoming problem.
The problem is the D.A. might be homeless at the beginning of 2007. ———————-
OPINIONS:
In my opinion, I suggest that my good friend the D.A. apply for Fema Trailers, for he and his staff. This would save the Parish money.
I wish everyone will get a chance to view the portion of the June 27, 2006 council meeting where the D.A. preaches to the Council. That petrified looking person who is in view of the camera is not a statue. He is Councilman Michael Matherne of Thibodaux. How would you like to have him in a fox hole with you? In my opinion, we should keep Mr. Matherne in the jellyfish pond inhaling the hot air.
Planet Earth should realize that my good friend, the D.A., has many important decisions to make. For the month of July, he must decide on whether he will be attending a fishing rodeo at Grand Isle, Louisiana or a convention in the state of Florida. DECISIONS, DECISIONS, DECISIONS!
