Lafourche Parish Tax Election
FACTS:
This coming Saturday, July 15, 2006 is an election day for Lafourche Parish tax renewal propositions. It is important that each registered voter exercise your right to vote.
OPINION:
In my opinion, if any part of the tax issue would fail, it would simply be placed on the September ballot for reconsideration. If this proposed tax renewal fails, the tax payers would be sending a strong message against the wasteful spending.
In my opinion, if the tax renewal passes, this council will place a new and additional tax proposition on the September ballot.
