Planet Earth to Lafourche Parish! Hello?
FACTS:
It was stated that the 2000-2004 Lafourche Parish Council was the people’s Council, the most productive Council.
OPINIONS:
It is alleged that an organization known as Lafourche First share in the blame for replacing most of the “people’s council” with the present day council.
It is alleged that the Lafourche First Board of Directors President was Ronald Adams and one of its board members was Cullen Curole. It is stated that Cullen Curole is currently the Lafourche Parish Administrator and Mr. Adams is currently the President of the North Lafourche Levee District.
In my opinion, Mr. Curole and Mr. Adams hold positions of importance in Lafourche Parish. Mr. Curole is responsible for all of Lafourche Parish, which also include the parish levees south of the Golden Meadow Flood gates (these parish levees were allegedly over-topped, without visible evidence of inflatable bladders).
Mr. Adams responsibility is flood protection of the area in Lafourche Parish from the South Lafourche Levee District boundary to the northern regions of Lafourche Parish, which includes the area where the alleged inflatable bladders were placed.
The tax payers of Lafourche Parish have questions.
1.Did Mr. Adams and the Board of the North Lafourche Levee District react to the alleged threat to life and property by flood waters in the area where the bladders were placed? Is this area under their jurisdiction? What did Mr. Adams and his board do? Why?
2.Did Mr. Curole react to the alleged threat to life and property by flood waters in the area south of the Golden Meadow flood gates? Is this area under his jurisdiction? What did Mr. Curole do in this area? Why?
3.Was Mr Curole part of an alleged conspiracy to keep as a secret the alleged expenditure of $5.2 million for flood protection in an area under the jurisdiction of the North Lafourche Levee District? Why?
