Who is Guarding the Hen House in Lafourche Parish?
FACTS:
National politic is humming in America. The Republican party, also known as the GOP (Grand Old Party) is referred to as the Gay Old Party in some circles. The Democrats are now known in some circles as the Society Of Jackasses. What is causing all of this political turmoil in America? The turmoil is allegedly caused by what is known as the “Foley Gate Scandal”. The politicians are practicing damage control, the issue with them is not the protection of the young people caught up in the scandal, but on who will control congress, ”The Gay Old Party” or “The Society of Jackasses”. The issue of child predators are so disturbing to us that we do not discuss it. We as members of an alleged straight majority society, fear being accused of “GAY BASHING” or being ”Homophobic”.
OPINIONS:
Congressman Foley is now being accused of being a Gay child predator. This politician (elected official) is the same person who HEADED THE CONGRESSIONAL HOUSE CAUCUS ON MISSING AND EXPLOITED CHILDREN (the fox guarding the hen house?). It is alleged that other staff members and elected officials knew the facts and chose to ignore or cover-up. The only thing Foley did not do was to place his picture on a roadside billboard and advertise how he was able to protect our children.
Do we feel that our children are safe in Lafourche Parish? With over 90,000 people (not counting transits) in Lafourche Parish, we seldom here of the arrest and prosecution of child predators. Perhaps Lafourche Parish is immune from the epidemic of child predators, which is gripping the rest of the nation. We hope that our children are safer than our tax dollars.
