The Lafourche Parish District Attorney and the Media
FACTS:
FACTS:
The motto for Fox cable news is “we report and you decide”.
OPINIONS:
The Lafourche Parish District Attorney, Cam Morvant, appeared as a guest on KLRZ “Talk on the Bayou”, last Friday. After listening to the host, Captain Kirk and my good friend Cam Morvant, it is my opinion that the motto for KLRZ “Talk on the Bayou” may be “WE distort and you decide”. In my opinion, my good friend Cam Morvant, like government, is like a baby’s elementary canal, a healthy appetite on one end and no responsibility on the other end. When questioned on the “Water Weenies”, Mr. Morvant sounded like he was waiting on marching orders from the council before acting on the alleged public corruption by the parish government administration. Isn’t it amazing that my good friend Cam Morvant allegedly acted on his own (why didn’t he wait on marching orders from the previous council?) to stop a legal public meeting of the previous (2000-2004) Governing Authority. My good friends, Cam Morvant and Judge Lanier appeared to have acted quicker to stop a public meeting than this administration acted during an emergency. It is public record (at tax payers expense) that Lafourche Parish District Attorney Cam Morvant charged his client, the previous governing authority with contempt of court. Mr. Morvant dropped the charges before the previous council could have their day in court. Why? Besides the alleged incompetence on his part, why? In my opinion, my good friend Cam Morvant’s explanation (or lack of) borders on a combination of the bible and Hollywood (General Patton World War ll).
One lady called in to the radio show and stated that Charlotte Randolph is doing a good job. Two gentlemen called in and stated that Cam Morvant is doing a good job. In my opinion, I believe that all three callers are in “denial”, and I do not mean a river in EGYPT (Mark Twain).
Keep in touch. Do not believe their words, observe their actions, or as in my good friend Cam Morvant’s case, his lack of actions.
