Is Lafourche Parish saving Money?

FACTS:

Charlotte Randolph was on KLRZ “Talk on the Bayou” today.  She stated that the Feds would pick up 100% of the expense incurred by the parish, as a result of hurricane Rita.

OPINIONS:

A caller asked MS. Randolph if she was going to get an apology from the Council, because she always said that the Feds would pay for everything.  DA………. that is not the issue caller, the issue is that the temporary levees were an unnecessary $5.3 million expense to the tax payers.  The Feds do not get their money from satsuma trees.  If what Ms. Randolph says is true, the tax payers are getting the raw end of the deal again, thanks to law enforcement at a local, State and Federal level.

Stay in touch, pay your taxes and whatever additional fees this group of elected officials can dream up ( culvert installation).
