Lafourche First Core Values
FACTS:
A letter from Lafourche First, dated April 10, 2003 to fellow Chamber Member and concerned citizen, depict the names of individuals picked for the “Lafourche First” Board of Directors. The letter was signed, sincerely, Paul Tom Gaudet,M.D., Membership Chairman. The board of Directors as depicted on the letter are as follows:
Ronald Adams (President), Carol LeBlanc (Vice President), Al Danos (Secretary Treasurer), Jane Birdsall, Harold Block, Gwen Cheramie, Cullen Curole, Dan Duplantis, William Eroche, Paul Tom Gaudet, M.D., Jake Giardina, Grant Gravious, Don Harang, C. Lindy Hoffman, Joe Leonard, Chick Martin, Bill Melancon and Larry Weidel. OPINIONS: Just about every member of the Board of Directors either work for the Parish, is appointed to a board, or represent the owner of a large company with the exception of Jane Birdsall, who just happens to be sister to Parish President Charlotte Randolph. The Lafourche First group expressed a desire to elect a Parish President and Council with the same core values as Lafourche First Members. Take a good look at Lafourche Parish public officials, in my opinion, they have the same “LACK” of values as members of the Lafourche First group. Did the citizens of Lafourche Parish follow the advice of a group of “WANNA-BE’S? In my opinion they did. In my opinion, the alleged corruption that is seen in Lafourche Parish today, can be attributed to the good citizens of Lafourche not thinking for themselves and listening to the scandalous and often sensational gossip from Lafourche First.

Did you see the so called investigative report on Craig Webre, conducted by an investigative reporter from FOX NEWS channel 8 in New Orleans, Louisiana? It appeared that Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre and FOX NEWS 8 investigative reporter were reading from a script written by Larry Weidel. Mr. Weidell is the PR person for the Lafourche Parish Sheriff office.
You can take your State Representative and State Senator to lunch as long as you spend $50 or less for their lunch. This is such a hardship that the public officials may have to pay for their own lunch so that they do not suffer from malnutrition.

I think the results from that election is why lafourche First has not been heard from or seen again since then. Lafourche First and last time. I am glad they are gone. We just need some real law enforcement to get rid of these government law breakers.
I have to agree. The citizens of Lafourche were “duped” by the “wanna-be’s” of Lafourche First. All Lafourche First saw was the “power” and the “glory” for themselves and couldn’t have cared less about the rest. Now we see the corrupt results.
I saw the investigative interview with Craig Webre on Fox 8. Ohhhh, what a well choreographed “ballet dance” of questions and answers. I watched his facial expressions when he answered and saw his little sly smirk come out now and then, too. I came away from watching that interview with a two word opinion of Craig Webre. “SMOOTH CRIMINAL”!!!!!
